Bowsette Gallery

5 years later... wait, didn't I have a blog or something? Apparently, time flows faster than anyone would expect. I had been absorbed in everything else and completely ignored the fact that this place exists. Well, since it's still here, why not make a new post?

I haven't been collecting pictures as much as I used to, but since Bowsette is the new fad, might as well upload those few I liked.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Franschise: Why do I love these games so much

Another update after, what, 8 months? Oh well, could be worse. Anyways, I thought I'd dedicate a post to these games, since I've recently started the latest installment again after seeing the newest DLC characters and deciding to get one of them.

Oblivion revisited

Haven't updated for a while huh? Well, I wasn't busy or anything, but there wasn't anything worth mentioning here. That is, until five days ago. For some strange reason, I remembered I hadn't played Oblivion for a long time, so I decided to look for it again. Fortunately, my old Elder Scrolls folder was there, in one of my external HDDs. Unfortunately, Skyrim wasn't there too( I wanted to give it a shot too, since the first time I only played through the tutorial dungeon and then stopped).

The really good thing was that my mods were all there, mostly intact. The bad thing was that I couldn't even remember what most .esp files were for. Well, some are pretty explanatory, but what the hell is this SW01Plus.esp???

Anyway, I decided to make a new character and start taking screenies, now that my hardware is much better and it can handle stuff like max textures/anti-aliasing/etc. So I'll try posting the ones I like every now and then, at least till I stop playing the game. Here's a bunch from the past week:

Warriors Orochi 3 : How much more awesome can a game be?

Well, after weeks of thinking of whether I should get this game, I finanlly did. Gladly.

Finally got Catherine!

Yeah so, after all those months of waiting for the game to be localized (I still remember how everyone used to say that this game has so many adult scenes it wouldn't be localized) then even more waiting for it to be published in Europe by Deep Silver (yes, thank you, you're the sole reason I never imported it) and finally some more waiting because of exams, I managed to get my hands on this copy. Do not fear precious, I'll never let go of you.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo; who wouldn't love it?

But of course I'm a big Final Fantasy fanboy. It's quite obvious I'd take anything and worship it because it's got "Final Fantasy" in it's title. No, I'm not serious. Even if I actually do worship the franchise, I still despise FF2, or FF7 which does get a good amount of praise from other fanboys nonetheless. But now is not the time to discuss such trifling matters. The thing is, we got an awesome demo out on PSN.

Valkyria Chronicles 3 is not going to be localized after all.

Day after day, rumor after rumor, the 3rd installment of our beloved game seemed even more out of reach. And finally, we've got official word that Sega will never localize it.

New York City besieged by typhoon "Irene"

After all the speculation, it seems that the typhoon "Irene" did not act as calmly as it could have and keeps causing disaster.

New York, the largest U.S. city, has been hit by the Hurricane "Irene" in the Sunday morning (GMT) in high winds and torrential rains. This phenomenon has caused the deaths of eight people in North Carolina, Virginia and Florida, while 1.5 million citizens have been forced out of their homes by order of the U.S. authorities.

What's YOUR excuse for not trying Ten Desires out yet?

But I was on vacation. I could rarely access the Internet, much less download something as bulky as this game. Yeah, I know. Lame excuse. Anyways, let me review this new ZUN wonder a bit.

Typhoon "Irene" moving towards Haiti, potential disaster

Tropical storm "Irene" turned into a hurricane over Puerto Rico and headed to Haiti, where hundreds of thousands of people are living in tents after the devastating earthquake of January 2010.

Sengoku Basara - Chronicle Heroes : not sure if it's worth it

So I'm a recent Sengoku Basara fan. Well, recent is subjective. I played SB2 a bit with a friend, then got SB3 on PS3 and loved it. I've seen both seasons of the the SB anime as well.I was hoping that this game would be up to par with the games. It seems it wasn't.

~~ Mahou Shoujo Ruruka ~~

First of all, let me clarify that this game is labeled 18+, so you minors might wanna reconsider reading this.

Since I decided to clean up my hard drive a bit, I checked out random games that I hadn't even installed (yay for me randomly downloading hundreds of files without thinking) and I stumbled on this one, and since I actually like it, I'm gonna write a short review. It's full name, along with the circle's name, and other credentials too, and also an easy way to search for it, is  (同人ソフト) [110619] [くろごまソフト] 魔法少女☆ルルカ.

My own top 6 seiyuu rankings!

With all these new seiyuus getting interesting parts here and there, I decided it's time for an actual ranking, since that may as well change easily should a more likable/interesting one pop up.

Rankings are separate for males and females:

Ikoku Meiro no Croisée 1st episode screenshots

This show just reeks of cuteness, though you might find the art somewhat lacking in...certain areas.Nonetheless, it seems like it's gonna be a pretty relaxing and beautiful show.

Isn't Alice : Madness Returns just wonderful?

Just when you think a game can't possibly be better than you imagine, it turns out that it is.[slight spoilers inside]

Aaaand it's time for a Raidou Kuzunoha thread! (v1)

Yeah, since the first post back when I created this blog,I've been wanting to make a Devil Summoner thread.Today is the day to display a portion of my collection of this wonderful summoner/detective.

Resonance of Fate Revisited

I remember when I first bought this game.Resonance of Fate in the West, or End of Eternity in Japan. It was in the week it came out.Pretty close with Final Fantasy XIII,which came out one or two weeks later.I was really happy when I got it,but that happiness quickly vanished after the first hours. But why was that?

Byakuren Hijiri Appreciation Thread

Time for a little gallery of our slightly misunderstood mage.

Are you even serious about this?Isn't this Kaguya's blogspot after all?

"You named your blog off this girl, yet you didn't devote even a single post to her?Blasphemy,I say!".

And that's the story.Or maybe not.Not sure about what actually happened back there.

Anyways, since it's true I've upped appreciation posts for some of my other favourites,I can't really think of an excuse about why I haven't yet for her.So here you go:

P3P thread (more like FeMC thread!)

Yeah,so the title might be a little tricky, but I'll make it up with a nice FeMC gallery.
